I had the gift of a few hours with my dear friend’s parents recently. They were in town visiting family and honoring her on the second anniversary of completing her dance with cancer.
It was a wonderful way to grieve, connect and reminisce. Bittersweet with memories and love with her unmistakable tether uniting us. She was present, it was palpable.
There were challenging things to talk about, and yet, it was graceful. Our connection lives on through her beyond the physical state. There is more for us to experience together.
There is comfort in the lasting connection formed when lives intersect. The opportunity to deepen that bond is always available.
Will we follow our tether across the world and move into the space available?
We will.
