The challenge is real with mental health.
Finding ways to help others with the struggle is not easy.
Whether we admit it or not, our world stigmatizes and dismisses mental health issues. Our systems make it difficult to receive comprehensive care, insurance doesn’t recognize its legitimacy, navigating the resources requires time, dedication and just short of an advanced degree to figure out.
It’s similar with elder care. Nothing is easy.
No one has consolidated the information, validated we need to honor people as they age, help them successfully find health and housing options, and collaborate to offer solutions most people can afford, not the few.
People are in pain with diminished capacity to navigate the complex path sorting out limited options.
We’ve got work to do in caring for each other.
