One Question to Simplify Chaos #815

by Sue Hawkes

When things get overwhelming, simplify.

You can easily lose time, energy and momentum because you’re swept up in all the things that could or are happening.

The best thing to do is to pause, step back with a wide-angle view of things, and do one thing which will have maximum impact first.

You can’t do that if you’re “in” the flurry of it all. You have to break from it, and return with a new perspective and decisive, focused action to take meaningful action.

Being intentional about the one thing that will change many or most things is more important than trying to do all things at the same time…which will rarely leave you successful in anything.

What’s the one thing you could do that would cause the maximum gain?

Do it.
